About
AI Song Lyrics Generator is a free tool that writes original song lyrics. You give it a subject, an emotional arc and a genre, and it returns a verse, a chorus and a bridge. It covers 22 genres, each with its own prompt behind it.
How the lyrics are written
Each genre has a separate instruction set covering its conventions: how many bars a verse runs to, where the hook sits, how dense the rhyme should be, and a list of phrases that genre has worn out. That last part matters more than it sounds. A general model asked for a country song reaches for dirt roads and tailgates every time, because it has read a great many songs that used them. Naming those and ruling them out is most of the difference between a usable draft and filler.
Requests are answered from a library of songs generated in advance wherever possible, and from a live model call only when you have asked for something specific. That is why it can stay free: reading a page costs nothing at all.
What it will not do
It does not reproduce the lyrics of existing songs. Not in full, not in part, not translated, rewritten or continued. Those words belong to the people who wrote them and to their publishers, and this site has no licence to reprint them. Ask for them and it will say no before it writes anything.
Naming an artist is read as a request for a style, never for their words. It will take the register and the subject matter and write something new.
It also will not write an attack on a real, named person, and it will not build one on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality. Battle verses are written against a fictional or unnamed opponent.
Who owns what it writes
You do, as far as this site is concerned. We make no claim on anything generated here. If you intend to release something commercially, run it through a plagiarism check first. That is sensible advice for any generated draft, from any tool.
